OUR MISSION
The mission and purpose of this preschool is to be an outreach to our community.
In partnership with our families, we will provide a nurturing foundation that teaches Christian values, God’s word, and an academic curriculum preparing children for Kindergarten.

MEET OUR TEAM
Julie Burr has been with Little Lambs for 17 years! In 2009 she started working with Little Lambs as a substitute teacher and then moved into an assistant teacher role in 2010. In 2012 she started as a lead teacher and then in 2016 she became the Director. Julie has lived in Purcellville for 23 years. She is Married and has 4 kids and 7 grandchildren. Her hobbies include running a small farm (goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies), managing the farm store on the farm, making goat milk soap, body lotions and lots more!
Her most loved Bible verse is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
Taylor Burr started with Little Lambs in the fall of 2025 as a teacher assistant (leading as the Art teacher). She graduated High school in May 2025 and plans to pursue a career in Early childhood education/Art for children and photography. She will be starting classes in the summer of 2026. Taylor’s hobbies include photography, beadazzling, baking, and hanging with the farm animals.
Her most loved Bible verse is :
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Diana Riese started with Little Lambs in the fall of 2019 as a substitute teacher. She then became our teacher assistant in 2022 and then in 2025 she became one of our lead teachers! Diana’s hobbies include hanging with her twin boys at her boys’ sporting events, sewing, and going to the beach. Diana also owns Rcreations where she does custom embroidery on jackets, hats etc. She has lived in Winchester for over 10 years and she lived in Round hill for 2 years before that. She is married and has 11 year old twin boys, 3 dogs, and fish.
Her most loved bible verse is Luke 6:31 “Do to others as you would have them do to you”
